OMG sooo sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Wow it's been 6 months since I posted on here last.  Well alot has happened that's for sure.  I have 2 finishes this yr so will post pics of them first.  Both finished in January this yr
This first one is Sabrina by Mirabilia
Stitched on Desert Sky by Silkweavers 32 Ct
This nect one is called Xmas Tree 2009 by Nora Corbett
Stitchesd on the recommended fabric 32 ct Linen
Well where do I start, apart from stitching and making a few presents for Xmas, life has certainly changed over the last few months.  In June last year I moved into a lovely 2 bedroomed flat with my boys, and we have now been here almost 9 months.  Three months after we moved here, I met my new partner called Kevin who has a 14 yr old Daughter called Stella and a Staffordshire Terrier Dog called Roxie who is almost 2.  Kevin and I have ben together for 6 months now, he has his own house, so I tend to go there because of Roxie, as I can;t have pets in the flat.  The boys and I now live about 20 mins walk from Weston Super Mare Beach, and we occasionally go down to the sea front for a lovely walk along the promenade, its lovely when the sun shines, but it is very chilly at the moment.  There is a Grand Pier there, and we sometime go on there and the boys enjuoy the rides on it.
Last Year I have a few more finishes, will add them to my 2012 finishes page and start a 2013 page.  HOpe everyone of my blogging friends is well, and apologies for not being here for a few months.  I am settled now, and will get back to some normality at last now that I have decent internet connection.

I mustn't forget to mention I have finally started stitching up the designs I have created, and will hopefully have them up for showing and selling later in the year.  Taken me long enough, but I am finally getting there.  I have 7 designs made up, and the first one is being stitched up at the moment.  Pics will come once I have finished it and made it up, just need to work out how to create the chart into PDF etc.

Take care my friends xx

Red Lady Pirate, Parts 1 of PR Mystery SAL & The Serengeti

This first one is Red Lady Pirate stitched on 32ct Opal called Hendersons Park by Colours of the Outback, I had to frog the reds, but now ready to start playing catch up again
This is also Red Lady Pirate being stitching on a Crafty Kitten Fabric, this RLP is being stitched for myself, so alternating these 2 as I go along.
This is the start of the Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL, I am running behind on this one, Part 2 is ready and waiting once I have made a dent in both of the RLPs that I am working on.  I shall be adding the beads at the end I think.
This last piece is called The Serengeti, I am stitching this piece on 28ct Opal Natures Grace by Polstitches Designs, This is Part 1 finished, I have 5 more months to catch up on, on this piece as I want to get this one finished at the right time lol.  Will do some more of this once I have caught up on the Model RLP for Colours of the Outback.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments on Pompejian Garden, I still have the bottom Swarovski Fire Opal to add (I did ordersome and they are here now) to it, will do that real soon.  I am missing stitching on it, but I know it is worth it at the end of the day, She is a beauty and once again thank you to you all my stitching family

Woohooo Pompejian Garden Mandala HD

Here is the finished piece at last, stitched on 32 ct Jobelan, by Polstitches called Cuddles (well I think it's Jobelan lol).  It has taken me 6 yrs on and off, infact it would have been 6 yrs this September, since I bought and started her.  Pomp was lovely to work on, I will miss it, but now I have several others to finish one BAP down, a few more to go phew, including HAEDS.
This is the centre piece all beaded including the Fishes Black eyes, I am not a lover of French knots, so decided to use beads instead for the eyes.
This is one of the corner pieces, I just love how it all came together.  Thanks to everyone for all their support and encouragement in helping me get this finished, it helped me focus since I have moved homes, and now it's time to find something else to work on.  I think Sabrina will be next, followed by a Model for Colours of the Outback, am stitching Red Lady Pirate for her.

New Home & Stitching

Hi Everyone

Sorry it has been a few weeks since I updated my blog, but having recently moved, and have just got my internet back, I am finally able to get on here again.  I am all organised, just need a sofa, arm chair and some drawers then we are completely settled.  Just going to get some beanbags to tide us over until I can afford the sofa and Arm Chair.

I have done the odd bit of stitching on Pompejian Garden done 5 hours so far on it, got a lot of catching up to do, which I shall try and start in the next couple of days.  I have also worked on Iris by John Clayton, did about 30 mins.  Will post pics tomorrow.

The boys and I have settled into our new home very well, it's just missing a few pieces of furniture, that will be needed, but have to save up to get the pieces I need, as mentioned in the first paragraph.

Hope all my lovely blogger friends are ok, good to be back online, will start looking at blogs real soon, take care my friends.

Pics coming soon of Flat and Stitching

Pompejian Garden update

Hi Everyone

Here is where I have gotten to with the 100 days/hrs challenge.  I have another 24 hrs of catching up to do, as I have been packing and getting ready to move homes.

I have really been enjoying stitching on this, and hope to have more pics soon, but not for a few more weeks i'm afraid.  I have a couple of models to stitch now, so everything else is packed away until after I move.  Take care all and will be back as and when I can.

Pompejian Garden Part 6 HD

Woooohoooooo Part 6 finally finished, I should have finished this in early 2007 lol, but hey ho never mind, almost 6 yrs later and it is done.  Just 3 more parts to go then I can bead it at last.

I have been doing a 100 day challenge of 1 hours stitching a day to get me motivated back into stitching, I have 3/4 hours still to catch up on, but going well.  I am going to start part 10 tonight, once tea has been had.  I would like to get this finished before the end of May.  It would be nice to have a WIP Slayer Challange finish, by the end of May.

I am hoping to get St Petersburgh Finished after this one is done.  Thanks for all your previous comments and also thanks for giving me blog awards, I really appreciate it, you give me the inspiration to carry on stitching.

Next month sees the start of the Araidne SAL, I was naughty and started early as you all know, roll on May I am missing stitching on her already, can't wait.
