New WIP & Xmas Tree 07 Update

Well I just couldn't resist it, and started Autumn Water Garden II(Going to call it AWG for short). Martina who designs the gorgeous Chartelaines, released Part 1 yesterday, and seeing as I had the fabric, and some of the threads already, I started it.

This is part of part 1, I still have 5 more colours to go, but I have just ordered them from Sew & So. Roll on Friday/Saturday so that I can get Part 1 finished off. I am going to do my best to keep on top of this one. Fingers crossed.

This is how far I have gotten on Christmas Tree 2007, by Mirabilia. It is stitching up nicely, and I am hoping that it will soon be my first finish of 2009.

Thanks for all you comments over the year on this and my old blog, they are really appreciated.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my blogging friends and family. xxxxxxxxxx

Mirabilia's Christmas Tree 2007

Here is what I started earlier this yr. I decided that this would be my next thing to finish. I thought that if I could get another smallish finish done then I can tackle something big afterwards.

This is what it will look like when its finished. I am using hand dyed fabric called Hudson Bay by Sugar Maple Fabrics, who have sadly stopped trading (I am gutted). It is 32 ct but, not sure what type of evenweave it is.

Thanks for the comments on Fast Off Ladies, Glad you like it Karen will be on its way soon hun. He is rather cute and cuddly.

Thanks for looking

New Start for 2009

Here is a pic of what I shall be working on in January. It is a Chatelaine and it is called Water Garden II - Autumn. I love this design and can't wait to start it. I shall be using Polstitches Designs Fabric called Fallen Leaves in Opal, and will be using the proper threads for it too.

I am also hoping to stitch the origional Water Garden for which I have the chart, fabric and some of the threads for as well, and have the beads, just need to order the beads for the one pic on the left as well, but they are not due to be released until Jan 15 at the latest. Roll on January.

I am not very well at the moment either, I have come down with a cold and feeling very sensative to the touch, and hope it clears up soon, as I am supposed to be going to My DH's mothers house for Christmas. On Boxing Day we are off to see Aladdin at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, I sure hope it goes.

Winter Beauty Princess Update

Here she is sooo far. I didn't get to do all the beading I wanted at the end of the day, but she is looking good. There are some beads in her hair and I am hoping to bead the rest of her hair and do the beading on her neck this weekend.

I just love the way she is stitching up. Have put her away for now, as I have some small things to get done and finished first.

I have to get some pressies wrapped up and get all my cards written, am behind for once in my life lol.

I am gonna try and keep this blog updated everyday if I can. It's about time I did lol.
