Winter Beauty Princess update

Here is update no 4 of WBP. I was really enjoying stitching on her this weekend as it was SAL time again for this one.

As you can see I have finished the beading in her hair, crown and also her necklace too. I was going to do the backstitching last night but ended up having an early night.

Back to Pompejian Garden today and hope to have a pic for you by the end of the weekend.

Part 5 HD

Here is Part 5. I finished this section last night, and started Part 8 too.

I am seriously enjoying stitching on this, and can't wait to get part 8 done. Once the trees at the side and the 2 side sections are filled in, it will be time to move to another section to get parts 4, 5 and 9 done. But before doing that, I may do parts 10,11 and 12, so that the border can be stitched at the same time, otherwise it may take me forever to stitch it lol. I am leaving the beads for this til the very end, and it will prob take 2 or 3 days to bead the whole thing, but can't wait to get it finished.

I will have to put it away for the weekend as it is Passione Ricamo SAL, and I shall be working on Winter Beauty Princess til Monday afternoon. So another pic of this will prob be Tues/Weds next week, unless I crack on with it, and get it done buy tomorrow morning, but not gonna rush it, I hate frogging which is something I haven't done YET lol. Give me time and I am sure I will get to some he he.

I have been home poorly all week cept for Monday, not sure what caused it, but Mark has also been home sick since Tuedays, and today I have both of them home, its a nightmare. We just don't know where the bug has come from. Fingers crossed we all get better as I am fed up, although I have had loads of stitching time this week.

I am not sure you remember, but one of my goals, was to finish Christmas Tree 2007, well I was stitching it the other week and when I looked at it, the threads and fabric did not look right together, so I have now frogged it and will restarted it once I have cleared my 14/15 WIPs, and will choose something more suitable for it, to be stitched on.

Pomp Part 4 & Visiting Karen

Here is Part 4 of Pompejian Garden, I still have 3 more do but I decided yesterday that I shall finish this section off before tackling the other 3 sides.

I am going to start part 5 of this, and will try and post a pic before going onto Part 8. Part 8 the is this piece with extra bits on it as it is the bottom section, so this pic should be upside down lol.

Yesterday I visited Karen, we had a great time. Thanks for having us hun, it was great to see you and Riley. My 2 entertained Riley for a wee while, then he went for a nap so we managed to get a couple of hours stitching in together, whilst my two played games lol. Riley was then woken up and had another hour or more to play with Guy & Mark and when we left, he decided we were not allowed to go. He decided to sit in front of the door and shut the curtain so that we couldn't go out lol. He is such a sweetie. Thanks again hun, see you in 4 wks time.

Friends first Piece

Today I have been teaching a friend of mine to stitch. She wants to stitch a Wedding Sampler for her sister who is getting Married in May, so I got her started today.

This chart is called Old Stone Church, and here is her first WIP. She enjoyed stitching on it today. Tomorrow afternoon she will be coming over to work on it some more.

She was really pleased with her first session, who knows she may be a stitcher in the making lol.

QS Citrine Wip

Here is QS Citrine to date. I am still working on it at the moment. I am struggling to put this down, and will hopefully have it finished by the end of the week. I just love stitching on this one.

Then I can concentrate on Pompejain Gardens Part 4, not sure this will be done by the end of the month, but at least it is being worked on lol.

Freebie QS Citrine SAL

This is what I am working on this weekend. It is called QS Citrine, and it is a freebie sal on the HAED board. I started last night and did about 300 stitches so far. There are 6 pages to this too.

I started on it again this morning and have one about 400 stitches so far. There are roughly about 8,000 stitches to be done on page 1 and I am hoping that at least half of this will be done by Monday evening (keeping my fingers crossed lol).

I have to stitch the background on this too as well as the hand and butter fly. This freebie is NOT available for download on any site, and therefore I cannot add a link to it. This Freebie is a HAED freebie and you have to be a member of the HAED Board, and would have had to sign up for it. The sign up date has been and gone and therefore if you didn't sign up for it, you cannot access the chart as it is sent in monthly parts.

Please DO NOT ask me for the Chart either as I cannot release it to anybody

Wip & Part 1 of AWG Done

Here is QS Buttons & Bows Kitty Fae update. I managed 1,300 stitches on her this weekend, she was hard going but, thats one goal down, as it was, one of the goals to stitching on her in an SAL this weekend just gone.

This is the next goal that I worked on, and it was to finish Part 1 of AWG II, which I did tonight about 10 mins ago.

The pic is not true what it is IRL, I will try and take a better pic when part 2 comes out on 1st Feb.

CT07 update & HAED SAL weekend

Here is an update on Christmas Tree 07, I am loving stitching this one up, but only worked on it in the evenings so far.

Hoping to work on it all day starting Tuesday, except for when I am working lunchtimes, in my new job as a School Meals Assistant.

This next piece is called QS Buttons & Bows Kitty Fae by Nadia Tate, which is a HAED Design. It is SAL weekend, starting today. I think she is soooo lovely.

She is stitched on 25ct Lugana, 2 over 1 tent stitch.

My Dad thinks its for my Niece, but I like her alot, looks like I may have to stitch her twice lol.

Here is how it looks so far, I shall be stitching it all weekend until Monday afternoon, so hopefully I will get Page 1 almost finished.

He He Karen I am gonna try hun. One Goal is almost done this month, just waiting for the threads to arrive then I can finish AWG.

January Goals

Starting this Year I have decided to start setting Goals for myself and see how I get on with it all.
