Miss Valentine HD

Here is Miss V all fininished as at 11am today. I only had the beads to do, and have loved stitching on her, will miss her, but onto Celtic Summer now.

Thanks for all your lovely previous comments, it has kept my mojo flowing and am looking forward to getting Celtic Summer Finished Next. This weekend is SAL weekend on the PR Board so I shall work on her at Karens this weekend.

Miss V Update

Here is an update of Miss V, this was a day and halfs work on her. As you can see I only have the skrt and legs to go, as well as finish the backstitching and beading. I am loving stitching her at the moment.

Not sure what I will stitch next, but I think its about time Winter Beauty Princess was finished, she has been on the go 2 yrs now. I will work on her on SAL weekend which is in a couple of weeks.

I am going to work on Celtic Summer once Miss V is finished until Thursday evening and then WBP for the SAL, lets see how things go.

Miss Valentine & Storykeep Enchanted WIPS

Here is Miss Valentine so far, this is 6 hours stitching on her so far. Am hoping to get cracking on her again this afternoon.

This next piece is called Storykeep Enchanted. It is this yrs HAED Freebie SAL (now closed to sign ups). I loved stitching this last night, it is being worked on 25ct fabric, 2 over 2 full crosses, as I have been getting headaches doing 2 over 1 tent stitching. You'd think over the last 3/4 yrs I would have taken note, but now that I have I have fixed it lol, I am enjoying it. I may just get a HAED finish this yr woohooo.

I have now come to the decision that I will have to restart all my HAEDs and do them as full crosses not tent stitching, so that I don't suffer. I may ahve to revert to Aida just to do these, but it will me getting ill lol.

My next piece that I have ready to work on is called QS Citrine by HAED, this is a freebie SAL from last year. So Iam gonna crack on with that one next. And in the evenings I shall work on Celtic Summer.

Tulip Update

Here is Tulip by John Clayton, it is almost finished. I just have 2 colours left in the flower head, and then a wee bit more of the border, its been coming along like a storm, and can't wait to have my first HD of the year.

I am going to be working on QS Citrine and Celtic Summer over the next few weeks. I shall work on QS Citrine during the Day and Celtic Summer in the Evenings, in an attempt to get them finished by the end of February.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone, my resolutions this yr are to work on my WIPs one at a time until they are finished. I have 15 of them to do.

Goals for January are

1: work and finish Tulip by John Clayton from the Connections Range (not much to do)
2: work on Celtic Summer

I am just going to keep it simple for now, just getting back into stitching.
